In Albuquerque, I was delighted to meet Suzy and Pete who own a Tahoma painting, that we previously did not know about.  They promised to send us a digital image.  This is one of the huge benefits of doing a book tour. We will continue to learn new things about Tahoma and his work. And we will share with you as we go.

Next up:

May 7, Western Parks Association, Tucson, noon and 2:00 p.m. Must call 520-622-6104 for reservation!

Now that the book is finally in your hands, it must be fun to travel around publicizing it. Look at all you’re learning. I’m thrilled with my copy of Quincy Tahoma. It’s a beautiful book plus a very thorough biography. Congratulations to you and Charnell.

If you ever come to southern AZ, don’t miss the Singing Winds Book Store outside of Benson AZ. No web page. No e-mail. No credit cards accepted. Just lots of good books and good advice from energetic Win Bundy.

Donna: Thanks so much for your kind words. We are just delighted that you are enjoying it.

Seeing these photos made me feel like you might be the envy of many authors these days because you seem to be so happy, enjoying meeting readers, going on a read book tour in brick-and-mortar bookstores and shops. Just lovely…congrats to you.

Meredith: I certainly was happy to be be sharing a common interest with these people. We are very carefully choosing the bookstores and galleries where we will appear. We prefer to give a talk, as I did here, because then the people who come are actually interested in the subject instead of just wandering through a bookstore. And we look for geographic locations where there are fans of American Indian Art. But yes, I do enjoy the public appearances more than some authors–no shrinking violet, I!
