As part of Charnell’s visit to Arizona in October, she and Vera will be at the Amerind Foundation and museum in Dragoon, Arizona on October 23 from 2-4 pm. They will talk about Tahoma’s life and work, and sign copies of the book. The Amerind promises to display some of Tahoma’s work, as well as have copies of Quincy Tahoma: The Life and Legacy of a Navajo Artist for sale.
It is the Amerind who owns that fantastic Quincy Tahoma painting of a Navajo sing with about 100 figures gathering in Monument Valley.
See the Amerind web site for information about visiting this wonderful American Indian museum and research facility in Southern Arizona.
